Cevapci & Balsamic Mushrooms

CRVAPCICI & BALSAMIC MUSHROOMS

This is an Eastern European meat dish. A simple home made sausage without a case.

INGRIEDENTS

1/2 kg pork mince

1/2 kg beef mince

sparkling mineral water

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 medium onion finely chopped 

4 cloves garlic crushed

1/2 tsp paprika

METHOD

Fiz baking powder in small amount of water. Add all ingredients mix really well. Wrap in glad wrap and refrigerate for 20 mins.

Get a small amount of mixture, roll it into a sausage shape about as thick as your thumb and as long as your finger.

Grill over hot coals until cooked.

BALSAMIC MUSHROOMS

INGRIDIENTS

300 g button mushrooms

1 TBS olive oil

1 TBS melted butter

2 garlic cloves crushed 

3 sprigs fresh thyme

Salt & pepper

MARINADE

2 TBS Balsamic vinegar

1 1/2 TBS olive oil

METHOD

Coat mushrooms with oil & butter, add the rest of the ingredients, toss well.

Roast in med oven for 35 mins tos wel at 20 mins.

When roasted tip on to bowl including any juices add marinade toss well.

Allow to rest for 2 hrs tossing occasionally. 

Serve warmed or at room temperature.
